This lighthouse is on a small island off the west coast of Vancouver Island. I shot it with a telephoto which compresses distance especially when using a deep depth of field.
The west coast gets some very foggy weather which makes for wonderful, moody shots such as this. What the viewer misses here is the mournful bellowing of the fog horns which one may hear all along the coast.
